When a lift breaks down, the first few minutes are important. What you do before help arrives can protect people, prevent more damage and make the repair faster. A little preparation helps everyone stay calm. First, make sure nobody is trapped. If someone is inside, keep them calm, tell them to use the alarm and assure them that help is coming. Never try to open the doors by force. Then call your elevator repair service in Moradabad and describe the problem clearly. Tell the technician what you noticed: strange sounds, a burning smell, jerks, the floor where it stopped and any recent power cut or water leak. These details save time and often point straight to the fault. Keep people away from the shaft doors Switch off the lift if advised Note the floor and time of the fault Keep the machine room accessible Share past service records if available Societies in Kanth Rd and Prem Nagar, and offices in Industrial Area and Harthala, should keep a short checklist near the lift
